Raytheon Technologies is playing a major role in revolutionising the Royal Navy’s training management culture, helping to make the UK Armed Forces more agile and adaptable than ever and giving them the confidence to tackle future challenges.

The Training Design Coordinator is responsible to the Training Design Service Manager to carry out administration tasks in support of the Training Design capability across the Selborne Contract.

Main Duties:

  • Work in support of the Selborne Training Design Service whose responsibilities include the analysis, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for multiple MOD sites and organisations. Main duties include in assisting in the:

  • Collating and presenting management information of KPI data.

  • The Document Review Management Plan (DRMP), this includes ensuring the data is current and accurate on a daily basis:

  • Maintaining accurate records and course status for all ongoing Course Design Changes (CDCs), Tasking Orders and Course Design Reviews (CDRs).

  • Supporting management in compiling MI for Training Change Working Groups.

  • Notifying Enabling Managers of upcoming (CDRs) using the data from the DRMP.

  • Conducting an annual DRMP data confirmation exercise following the Statement of Training Requirement (SOTR) Screening rounds.

  • Providing a front desk service co-ordinating all Training design queries and requests.

  • Maintain a Training design Service action plan of all outstanding actions.

  • Liaise with the Quality Improvement Team to ensure that all TD related items including 1st Party and 2nd Party Audits are identified and actioned.

  • Facilitation of all Training Design meetings to include:

    Organising the meetings; Set the agenda; Taking minutes; Distribute minutes

Candidate Requirements:


  • •C
    ollating data and maintaining accurate records.
  • •C
    reating MI and reporting

  • IT literacy using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Excellent time management and organisation


  • Should have some experience of:
  • Working in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Working to deadlines
  • SharePoint administrator
  • TAFMIS user.
