We have an opportunity with an NCSC and CREST accredited Cyber Security Services Company who are planning to add a Security Consultant to their highly regarded team of security professionals. The Role of the Security Consultant:
The role would suit a Security Consultant with a broad technical knowledge across the security landscapes and a solid understanding of the industry frameworks. You’ll have the ability to take both a holistic view of the customers business and possess the experience required to carry out cyber security assessments and gap analysis against various frameworks. You’ll back yourself to define and propose the security requirements and controls required to mitigate identified security risks whilst considering technical to business balance.
This is a client facing role and as such you’ll need great communication skills and possess the ability to report emerging cyber risk to technical and non-technical audiences to influence information security direction and strategy.
Your aim is to become a trusted advisor on the remediation activities required to address technical, operational or project risks impacting a customer.

Some of the Skills Required by the Security Consultant:
- Strong Technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of end experience implementing information security frameworks and standards such as the ISO 27001 and NIS Directive and PCI DSS.
- Experience conducting security risk assessments, advising on risk, and giving risk mitigation solutions.
- Experience carrying out cyber security assessments and gap analysis against various frameworks.
The role is currently remote, and every effort is made where possible to arrange client work on projects close to home.
