Due to the growth within their Professional risk division, they are looking for a Senior Broker Support Technician to join their team.

Your new role
Your new role working as a Senior Broker Support Technician means you will be responsible for creating timely and accurate accounting transactions, evidence of cover documentation and premium signings using the core processing system (Global XB). You will also be working with the Bureau (Xchanging as was now DXC) in the workings of accounting and settlement (A&S) protocols relating to the function of premium process and signings. The role includes working with the Accounting and Credit Control Team, to clear all bad debt, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, held funds, funding and signings. Other duties will include attending business unit, client, underwriter or market meetings, providing technical input, to coordinate and report where required the tracking of revenue at business unit level and provide an oversight and technical support to managers and team members across all locations

What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Technician handling Professional risks, or Financial Institution or cyber and related risks within a Lloyd’s Broker will contribute to your success in securing this role. Their ideal candidate will have an excellent level of Technical Insurance knowledge and the associated complexities to be able to both process and support the business in technical capacity, delivering a high-quality service to clients. You will have extensive understanding of Market Reform Contracts and experience working with the Bureau in the workings of accounting and settlement protocols and activity as they relate to the function of premium process and signings. You will also have goof knowledge of Line Slips & Binding Authorities, and demonstrate a working understanding of all the resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements associated to the successful completion of day to day activities. Knowledge of LORS (preferable but not essential)
