SECURITY ANALYST – INFORMATION GOVERNANCE
Highly experienced Security Analyst required for a London Local Government organisation for a 3-month initial contract to assist as part of a larger team on several projects.
Your new company
This Local Government organisation is seeking an experienced Security Analyst with a strong data protection background to assist on various projects including a large software rollout.
Your new role
You will assist as part of a larger team in various projects and in the local Governments software rollout. Due to the increase of projects, extra cover is required, and support is needed with their data protection and Information Governance. Your role is to provide analysis throughout the projects and rollout to address any security issues and flaws that may need tackling. Your primary job will be to look at the data protection of the projects and evaluate areas of potential breaches, working with Governance Information.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need previous experience as a Security Analyst in several past projects. Ideally having worked in local government or the wider public sector. The ideal candidate will need to understand government frameworks and know how to carry out risk assessments for projects as well as look at data and write reports. Information Governance and data protection background required.
Beneficial but not essential:
- Understanding of ISO27001 / CIS20
- CISSP certified
