Manages assigned territory and/or customer accounts to optimize market penetration to achieve or exceed Interiors, Service and Support goals by executing sales strategies and delivering incremental sales growth.
To increase bookings and revenues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through development and execution of sales strategies / campaigns in conjunction with Business Development. Accountable for Spares Provisioning, Repairs, MAU, Stocking Programs and LTA closure.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively manage a diverse group of assigned customers within assigned region
  • Develop and execute customer specific account strategies which include: bookings / sales / profitability targets, accurate and up to date fleet profile data
  • Proactively engage with airlines and aftermarket personnel to resolve customer issues
  • Develop high levels of customer intimacy by establishing strong and widespread relationships
  • Establish formal, regularly scheduled business review meetings with customers, log / track / and execute open actions in a timely manner
  • Create bookings opportunities to achieve Interiors Service & Support targets by: understanding customer needs, responding to customer RFQ’s, supporting development of commercial quotations, identifying MAU opportunities, increasing general spares volumes and maximising RSPL opportunities for new product deliveries
  • Gather market and peer intelligence and feedback to the respective Business Development group
  • Develop customer marketing plans to drive sales campaigns
  • Determine and/or approve discounts, rebates, and margin impact related activities
  • Liaise with SBU’s as required to further support Collins Aerospace Interiors / RTX’s broader sales activities
  • Actively engage in contract development for kit programs
  • Conduct business in a manner that supports company policy (codes, procedures, ethics)

Size and Scope Information

  • Interfaces on all levels within the business including Account Executive team, Customer Service, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Operations
  • Interfaces with professional, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled employees
  • Interfaces with key customers at management, leadership, & executive levels
  • Must be able to identify decision makers and develop strong, widespread, working relationships within the airline that will enable the creation of bookings opportunities.
  • Customer touch points should include, but not be limited to, contacts within: Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Maintenance.
  • All products within the Collins Aerospace Interiors SBU portfolio, in an aftermarket environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Aerospace industry experience is desirable
  • Contract development experience is desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the company’s customer base, their needs and requirements

Hours of Work

39 Hours per week
This will be a remote role based at Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Education

  • Desired: Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) or equivalent
  • Preferred: MBA
  • Considered: Time served Apprenticeship within aviation or engineering discipline
