Collins Aerospace Systems, part of Raytheon Technologies, is on the lookout for a Program Management Office, Manager to join the team in Leighton Buzzard.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develops and manage centralized PMO control mechanisms (tools, processes, procedures and metrics) which facilitate control of program Schedule, Cost, Risks and Change Management.
  • Develops and manage an integrated schedule and resource plan enabling the program to be delivered on time and to budget.
  • Liaises with functional groups and internal business clients to develop short- and long-term system plans; works with regional IS directors to identify resources and prioritize the plans.
  • Manages the PMO function.
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align processes and procedures with business initiatives.
  • Writes and maintains all Program Management processes and procedures in line with company standards.

Experience and Skills

  • Significant work experience including multiple full life cycle ERP deployments
  • Experienced Program Manager in complex engineering programs
  • Proven experience of working in a large multi functional program management environment, in a planning/scheduling role
  • Ability to work with different types of people & functions to achieve the goal
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and high initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage a team and command respect from other facilities to enforce PMO processes
  • Thorough, methodical & attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 Pro and MS project
