As a Production Operative (NDT Level 2) you will:

  • Carry out General Assembly Duties
  • Follow instructions and adhere to processes contained within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Ensure high level of 5S, keeping all working areas clean and tidy at all times including: Clean Floors, Work Surfaces, Machines and Equipment
  • Ensure all equipment and machinery is used in the correct, safest and most efficient way at all times
  • Ensure that all assembly and production is completed in line with customer requirements and in line with the Business Plan
  • Carry out TPM
  • Carry out performance reviews & eyesight tests (Tumbling E)
  • Support continuous improvement and ACE deployment through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support monthly internal NDT audits.

You will bring to this role:

  • You will be able to read, understand and follow SOP’s (work instructions)
  • Good communication skills
  • You will have a EN4179 qualification
  • Experience of Ultrasonic immersion Testing Level 2
  • Ability to identify and be able to question sub-standard process/product
  • Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative. (Logical and systematic approach)
  • Generation / amendment of NDT procedures and techniques, to existing template formats
  • PC Literate
  • Ability to work shifts is essential

As part of the legal requirement to comply with international trade controls, we require all candidates to successfully complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check including criminal record checks. In addition, we will check the identity of all employees against various government denied party lists prior to making a formal offer of employment.
