Media Design Assistant

The Media Design Assistant reports to the Media Team Leader for providing front desk administrative, word processing and small-scale graphic output.
Work as a member of a team whose responsibilities are:
Customer facing role of media services, booking in media requests from both online and F2F customers
Logging work into the media database managing system
Support word processing for the maintenance of media quality documentation and processes
Dealing with customer enquiries and progress chasing internally within the dept
Support the production of the word processing including document template design and formatting
Maintain and adhere to internal quality processes, asset management of electronic files, admin systems and document management control
Ensure compliance with MoD & Raytheon (Team Fisher) regulations and procedures.
Ensure MoD & Raytheon health, safety and environmental procedures are always complied with
Compliance with MoD policies for BR’s, JSP’s and the DLE
Carries out any other appropriate tasks that may be required for media output
Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of work colleagues and customers
The nature of RN training requires a high degree of flexibility for all Raytheon staff; there may be a requirement for travel between delivery sites within the UK
Any other duties required to complete the Media Service.
Experience of word processing and administration management.
Educated to GCSE level, NVQ 3
Experience of the MS Office
Experience in an office administration environment with good telephone manner and customer service skills
Good standard of word processing skills
Good all-round team player with a positive attitude for front desk office support
ECDL or equivalent proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
Knowledge of Adobe creative suite
Working experience in a graphics design setting
Knowledge of JSP 822 Defence Systems approach to Training DSAT.
Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (Raytheon UK will sponsor as required).
