Collins Aerospace, part of Raytheon Technologies, is on the lookout for an experienced Materials Planner to join the team.

Reporting to the SI&OP Lead this role is accountable for production planning, demand management, capacity alignment and co-ordination with production value streams, to meet agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate weekly production schedules in SAP & APO system to meet daily, monthly and annual customer requirements to align with financial goals.
  • Maintain Master Data for non-MPS planned product to ensure correct MRP planning.
  • Work Order Execution monitoring and escalating deviations.
  • Analyse customer schedules / Internal demand change and understand impact to the business.
  • Maintain MPS stability to provide stable demand signal to suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyse the sales forecast vs MPS load and work closely with production control team to discuss any anomalies to achieve site sales & inventory targets.
  • Generate the monthly capacity plans (internal and external), and review with all necessary stakeholders.
  • Investigate customer reschedule request and analyse MRP / Sales Impact and communicate.
  • Deploy Effective Material planning (E.M.P) for manufactured assemblies.
  • Support Monthly SI&OP Process with data input and meeting discussions.
  • Line of Balance (LoB) shortage escalation via daily tier reviews

Requirements / Key Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in business/operations/supply chain or equivalent experience
  • Experience and demonstrated success within a planning role
  • Proficient in SAP Planning and Shop Floor Execution
  • Good understanding of SAP Inventory Management
  • Experience in generating and communicating capacity plans
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced MS office skills. (VBA Advantageous)
  • Knowledge in manufacturing operation systems (ACE/6 Sigma)
