We are currently recruiting for a Server Engineer on a permanent basis for a Financial Services organisation based in Camberley.

We are looking to recruit a Server Hardware Engineer to work onsite with a large corporate organisation in the Camberley. A s the Server Engineer you will deliver full lifecycle maintenance services and on-site technical expertise covering a wide array of technology from workplace to network infrastructure and everything in between.

Their technology enabled mobilised teams provide high quality, scalable expertise and support across a wide range of customers in Germany, France, The UK, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Ireland and they provide global network infrastructure support 24/7 365 days per year from our German Global Infrastructure Centre.
This role requires on site work across 24/7 shift pattern, so you must have a current driving license/ be able to access the site out of hours as needed. There is an on-call allowance of Â£5,000 in addition to your basic of Â£34,500 pa. The shift pattern runs in 6 weeks cycles including early, days, nights, a rest week at home and on call week at home â€” all of which are paid (including the rest weeks).
You will have some prior commercial experience in a similar position able to demonstrate your experience across the following areas:
- Break fix server engineer working on HP, Dell and IBM servers, Server provisioning, Rack, stack and configure servers
- Troubleshoot hardware faults and arrange replacements.
- Install and decommission redundant equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to priorities your own time effectively
- Aptitude to learn new skills and actively invest in your own professional development
We are not looking for a highly experience Server Engineer and this is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their existing skills, as the organisation will also support you to gain industry recognised accreditations.

Salary up to Â£34,500, plus Â£5,000 on call allowance, 23 days starting annual leave plus bank holidays (31 in total) – increasing with tenure, up to 6% pension â€” matched, life assurance, private medical and dental, critical illness cover, cycle to work scheme, travel insurance and gym membership.
