What you will be doing
Working as a project manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a variety of projects from internal IT system implementations through to Complex Business change transformation programmes. This will include, software development projects, data projects, cyber security projects and more.

Who you’ll be working for
This organisation have a mission to improve the lives of students across the UK through digital transformation within higher education. They have recently merged with another organisation who support higher education and have now become the leading organisation for higher education support in the UK. This means they are currently in a period of change and growth within the business with lots of opportunity for progression and upskilling within employments.

What we are looking for
An skilled senior project manager with experience delivering data and data centre related projects to start. Experience and understanding of other IT / Business change projects would be advantageous as well. It is not essential to have any experience within the higher education industry. There is a requirement to travel to the Datacentre which is based in Leeds on an occasion.

  • Able to work within a fast paced, complex environment, and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to provide effective persuasive & strong leadership to ensure timely delivery
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including ability to tailor technical updates to non-technical audiences
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels, including senior leaders
  • Familiarity with, and ability to apply, common project management approaches and techniques to projects
  • Able to use Microsoft Office365

What you’ll get in return
Initially this is a 12 Month FTC employment as a project manager. However the organisation envisage this role being extending or becoming permanent as there is a high requirement for skilled project managers.
