IT Programme Director – Cloud Migration (Azure), Security, Insurance

Up to £1200 per day (Inside IR35 – Umbrella)
6 Month contract initially
Hybrid (London / WFH)

My client is an instantly recognisable organisation, who urgently require a very high calibre IT Programme Director with a proven track record in overseeing major Technology Transformation Programmes in Cloud Migration (Azure preferred), Modernisation of legacy Platforms and an excellent understanding of Security and Risk Assurance.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record as an IT / Technology Programme Director with a clear focus on large scale Technology Transformation in a Financially Regulated (Insurance / Banking / Financial Services) industry
• Demonstrable experience of delivering very large, highly complex, multi-year Technology Transformation Programmes with a core focus on Cloud Migration (Azure preferred) and Modernisation of legacy Platforms
• Excellent understanding of Security (Cyber) and Risk Assurance
• Exceptional Leadership and Communication (including report writing and presenting) skills to all levels of the Business including direct Stakeholder Engagement with C-Level Stakeholders (COO / CIO / CTO, CISO etc) with the ability to simplify highly complex Technology themes into a narrative the organisation can understand
• Ability to maintain Governance and Control requirements, ensuring all internal Governance requirements are met
• Demonstrable experience of delivering major Programmes within budget and to tight deadlines
• Experience of running Programme Steering Committees and ensuring key Stakeholders are kept up to date on progress and give visibility of where a Programme is against key KPI’s
• Flexibility towards hybrid working (on-site in London)

• Decommissioning experience of Major legacy Technologies
• Implementation experience of a new Operating Model that introduces Agility and Innovation to help an organisation meet the needs of its customers
