A leading top Regional Law Firm is currently recruiting for an experienced IT Director to manage the Firm’s technology development team and make sure the Firms applications are formed in line with the strategy and objectives and ensure that the users of the applications have the necessary knowledge of the technologies in use.

This role is on a permanent basis, salary negotiable. The client operates on a hybrid working model with a company policy of 5 days in the office across 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

Formulating and delivering IT Strategy united with the firm’s policies and consistent with knowledge of the business and its requirements and expectations

When needed, revising the firm’s policies relevant to IT or cyber security

To be aware of the terms of the firm’s contracts with its different IT suppliers and to make sure that related internal discussions are taken in advance of the expiry of the contract

Recognising any suitable opportunities to enhance the Firms cyber security and limit the use of shadow IT

Requirements

Delivering IT leadership in a managerial position of over 5+ years at a Law Firm or a Professional Services Firm

Good understanding of legal applications such as Bighand/Winscribe, Citrix, Aderant, Linetime and DMS tools

Strong understanding of development processes and techniques along with expertise in case management development and data analysis

Awareness of the legal technology market, the products, suppliers and innovation within the market
