EUC Engineer

EUC Engineer contract vacancy in large public sector organisation in Birmingham
6-month contract – within scope of IR35
£350-£400 (depending on experience)

Hays Technology are working in partnership with a large public sector organisation in Birmingham to recruit an EUC Engineer on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be focused on Modern Endpoint Management of end user systems. Our client is seeking someone who has strong technical and problem-solving skills in a wide range of technologies.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
• Application packaging and deployment with Intune and MEMCM (SCCM)
• Develop and test processes for onboarding new Windows 10 devices
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills in Windows 10 and Intune
• Managing support tickets that been escalated to System Application Team to ensure service issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
• Providing 3rd line support on all commonly used software and hardware.
• Monitoring and proactive remediation of system issues.
• Continue service improvement and keeping abreast of new technologies.

In order to apply for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

• Significant experience of Modern Desktop Management with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
• Experience in configuration and deployment of Windows Autopilot
• Configuration of AutoDeployment profiles (user driven and self-deploying)
• Configuration of MDM profiles
• Configuration of Compliance policies
• Configuration of Conditional Access to company resources.
• Configuration of Wifi profiles
• PowerShell scripting skills
• Application packaging and deployment with Intune and MEMCM (SCCM)
• Develop and test processes for onboarding new Windows 10 devices
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills in Windows 10 and Intune

Desirable

• Microsoft Certifications
• Cyber Essentials Experience
• Develop and test processes for onboarding existing Windows 10 devices
• Active Directory and Azure AD Knowledge
• Experience working with virtual desktop technologies (Microsoft AVD, Citrix)
• Application virtualisation (AppsAnywhere, APP-V, MSIX)
• Configuration of Windows Update for Business
• Producing Intune/MEMCM reports
