Flexible Location – Up to £60,000
Mostly Remote – Occasional travel to your local office – (offices in most large cities)

Hays Technology are working with a Big 4 Accountancy organisation who are looking for two experienced Cyber Security Risk Assessors.

I am looking for Cyber Security Risk Assessors or technically minded security auditors who have prior risk assessment experience in busy, large scale and fast paced environments and who possess strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.

The ideal candidate will have come from a technical IT background (Infrastructure/Vulnerability) with some more recent experience in the security risk assessment space.

What you’ll be doing:

Performing risk assessments across a variety of areas such as: new projects, programmes, suppliers, vendors, transformations, implementations etc.
Completing security risk assessments in line with the organisation’s risk assessment methodology
Raising risks where required
Using your technical awareness to effectively understand where and why potential risks need to be raised
Using your technical understanding to effectively explain potential risks to internal stakeholders and project staff
Multitasking across multiple risk assessments, prioritising where required and keeping within SLAs
Using your technical awareness to interpret vulnerability and penetration test reports, to liaise with technical security staff, to raise risks and escalate where required

What we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will have come from a technical IT background (Infrastructure/Vulnerability) with some more recent experience in the Security Risk Assessment and Audit space
Risk Assessment experience is essential
Technical awareness across IT Infrastructure and Vulnerability Management
Experience completing multiple risk assessments concurrently
Strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement and management skills are essential
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
