Cyber Security Manager

£500 per day (Umbrella only)
9-month contract (Inside IR35)
Newbury, Berkshire UK (Remote currently)

We are a nationally leading telecoms organisation with millions of customers across the UK.
Security is at the forefront of everything we do to ensure our organisation remains protected from the growing threat of cyber crime. Right now, we require a Cyber Security Manager to support a 5g roll out project.

Your new role
Working closely with the project team, you will provide solutions that comply with internal security policies, standards and the security architecture and provide technical advice and guidance to Technology Security Specialists. You will review end to end connectivity across our networks, specify security testing and ensure that any identified vulnerabilities are remediated. Changes you will be working on will encompass the full range of Network and IT technologies including:

• Fibre and SDH transport networks; IP and MPLS networks; Broadband delivery
• Converged Business services (e.g. VoIP services and Virtual Contact Centres)
• Mobile Access and Core networks; Voice over Wi-Fi/VoLTE
• Business Support Systems and Mobile Applications
• Network Management and other OSS Systems
• Corporate Network technologies; End user computing / BYOD

What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previously worked at a senior level on security projects related to 4G and 5G within the telecoms industry. You will be an expert in cyber security including assessments, designing reviews, managing penetration testing activities and risk management. You will have exposure to Nessus and present a strong understanding of cyber various security tools and techniques. A CISSB qualification is desired but not essential.
