At our Prestwick facility, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Account Manager to join our Commercial Business Team. You will be responsible for handling specific key accounts with our external and internal customers, providing a customer interface at a local level, preparing and submitting customer quotes, and potentially undertaking project work for new and long-term services agreements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be a dedicated account manager to act as a central point of contact and service for any requirements from our customers
  • To be able to troubleshoot and collate internal resources to resolve any specific customer related issues
  • To conduct services agreement reviews with customers and manage service delivery, quality management, processing, invoice querying in line with expectations/KPI’s set.
  • To improve and implement new processes and work instructions to ensure a first-class level of customer service
  • To organise commercial back-office tasks to ensure that the customer is well managed in line with expectations
  • To build client relationships by acting as the interface between the operations
    teams and sales teams within the company
  • Compliance with all RTX & Collins Aerospace policies and regulatory procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property, and International Trade Compliance requirements

The successful applicant will have a strong background in customer service/customer accounts, administrating contractual terms, and customer quotation creation, while a level of aerospace industry experience would be advantageous.

Position Requirements

  • To be able to communicate and present effectively – both verbally and written
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and handle several client accounts
  • Manage time and projects successfully, knowledge of CI would be beneficial
  • Be a team player and have efficient networking skills
  • Have initiative, motivation, and focus
  • Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft Office suite, additionally SAP experience would be beneficial
