Cloud Architect

Cloud Architect – London – Permanent – Insurance – Hybrid

Cloud Architect is urgently sought by an industry leading Insurance business who deep into a Technology Transformation. As a Cloud expert, you will be responsible for ensuring Cloud strategy is being met in Architecture and direct all design across all Business and IT Teams. You will be integral to executing the company’s Cloud strategy and will be central to developing the company’s technical outlook utilising the latest tech/products.

This will be a hybrid role and requires candidates to attend the office 3x per week as part of the core Architecture Strategy team.

Role:

– Create and deliver the Cloud strategy – ensure standards and governance are met to company best practice

– Align technology to the right solutions and automate wherever possible

– Design of tools – deploying and administration of applications in the cloud

– Understanding of Cyber Security or DevSecOps

– Architect a solution for DR and Business continuity. Ensure the solution is “on-prem and Cloud” ready

– Key point of contact for business and IT and able to create robust and timely Proof of Concepts

Skills/Experience:

– Proven Cloud Architecture – Must show evidence of delivering similar Cloud Solutions

– Azure Cloud experience – certifications preferred

– Secondary knowledge of AWS/GCP – useful

– DevOps knowledge – CI/CD

– Proven background understanding Software and Product development

– Security Knowledge – Application, Infrastructure

– Some background in Data – Analytics, Data Quality, Data Ingestion
