My client is a high-profile government organisation, looking for an experienced business analyst to investigate and assess business needs, define problem areas, and create strategies to solve them in line with business requirements. Day to day, the role will involve utilising a wide variety of tools and technology to assist the planning, development, and implementation of a cyber-security project. Key to this role is communicating effectively at all stages of delivery with stakeholders, other business analysts, and team members from other disciplines.
What you’ll need to succeed
My client is looking for a knowledgeable business analyst with excellent communication skills to successfully gather requirement analysis through a range of tools, build and manage effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally (both technical and non-technical individuals), and create an efficient Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
A thorough understanding of the full project lifecycle is vital, including proven, effective use of various SDLC methodologies (such as Waterfall, Agile, Wagile, PRINCE2, SCRUM, Kanban). You will play a key part in successfully developing business cases showing ROI through cost/benefit analysis, and will therefore need to be a confident user of a variety of documentation tools. Such tools may include: MS, JIRA, Confluence, Google Analytics, and SharePoint. In addition to these skills, the successful candidate with have thorough knowledge of project management, best practice implementation and government digital services (GDS).
Ideally, you will demonstrate experience analysing and delivering technology-based projects.
