We are currently seeking an Airline Support Manager to join our team. This will primarily be a fully remote role which can be based in the UK, Netherlands or France and will require 40% travel.

The Airline Support Manager (ASM) has the responsibility, accountability, and advocacy for commercial aerospace customers’ fleet overall in-service success. The primary focus of the ASM is to develop and manage the relationship between Collins Aerospace – Power & Controls and the airline or aerospace customer, identifying and implementing the overall strategy on customer satisfaction on a platform and airline-specific basis. In addition, the ASM is the critical interface to the end-user operator at Entry into Service (EIS) and post EIS improvement activities that include issue resolution and proactive improvement activities while extensively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage/oversee customer business relationship.

Align with key Collins Aerospace core customer facing roles, Field Service Managers (FSM), Product Performance Manager (PPM), and Customer Business Director (CBD).

Ability to communicate at executive levels internally and externally, while engaging with commercial and engineering or technical stakeholders.

Manage all facets of new aircraft/fleet introduction at the airline customer support level to ensure smooth entry -into-service and compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Operations EIS Readiness:

  • Initial provisioning
  • Fleet performance data requirement
  • Training
  • Upcoming hardware and software upgrades
  • Materials return process
  • Ground support equipment

Post EIS technical review, as well as in service issues improvement activities:

  • Fleet performance
  • Component performance
  • Issue resolution
  • Fleet mitigation


Education/ Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Advanced degree

Experience / Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a customer facing environment required
  • Extensive Airline and/or MRO Experience required
  • Program/Project management experience.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience working independently and self-managing competitive priorities.
  • International business and cross functional team experience.
  • Commercial aircraft technical understanding required
  • SAP experience an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Determined work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication and must be comfortable in providing updates to executives and outside customers
  • Be well versed in Excel, PowerPoint. Be detail and result orientated, with an analytical and proactive approach.
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of Management both internally and externally, with an analytical awareness
